A study on men admitted in hospital with acute heart attacks levels of sex hormones were evaluated. ESTRADIOL LEVELS OF HEART ATTACK PATIENTS WERE 180 % WHILE BIOAVILABLE TESTOSTERONE levels were 3% less than those of control patients.
Findings reveal higher heart attack incidence associated with high estrogen and low Testosterone, its possible that these low levels of testosterone and high levels of estradiol occured in response of the heart attack itself ".
