I will quote from the Peer- review journal cited above verbatim.
Abstract--- Normal consequences of aging men androgen levels, the neural consequences of age - related androgen depletion remain unclear, recent evidence suggests a link between low androgen levels & development of Alzheimers Disease ( A D ) the hypothesis that androgen acts as endogenous modulators of ( beta ) - amyloid protein ( A ) beta levels. These findings suggest that age - related androgen depletion may result in accumulation of A (beta ) in the male brain and therby act as a risk factor for the development of Alzheimers Disease.
